The goal of the Krabbenhoft Public Library is to serve the community by providing information, education, and recreation to all ages in the community in all phases of endeavor.

To carry out this goal, two general areas of service will be covered. They are : 1(Service to the general community.) 2(Service to the student.)

1. Service to the General Community.

To carry out this goal we wish to serve the General Community through information on a variety of topics. Books, magazines, newspapers, videos, tape recordings, microfilm and other resources will be made available to the Community through the library.

We will also support educational, civic and cultural activities of groups and organizations. We shall seek continually to identify community needs and provide programs of service to meet such needs.

2. Service to the Students.

The Library will endeavor to cooperate with the local elementary and middle school by encouraging class visits and striving to meet the needs of students through an understanding of their educational program and research demands.

This resource is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act as administered by State Library of Iowa.
